Cheer Academy
Cheer is a fun, energetic discipline that promotes life values such as team work, commitment, resilience, responsibility, respect for self and others. Equally, its modern style of competitive cheerleading is a combination of gymnastics, dance and acrobatic stunts performed to music, usually in a team of up to 32 members.
Dance Academy
Here at SA Academy there is something for everyone, as we offer classes in Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. For instance, Jazz dance is an energetic, fast paced, hard hitting style and Lyrical dance is characterised by fluidity and grace. Both styles include elements of ballet technique. Nonetheless, Jazz and Lyrical classes have become more popular since appearing on shows such as ‘Dance Moms’, ‘World of Dance’ and ‘The Greatest Dancer’. Additionally, Hip hop dance incorporates an authentic street dance style, influenced movements with groove and style.
